Most Meditation falls into 2 categories:
Concentrative meditation- meaning to focus on a single image, sound, or your own breathing. This is used to still mind and allow greater awareness and clarity of mind to emerge
Mindful mediation- these methods do not focus on a single purpose. You are aware of all thoughts, feeling, sounds, or images that pass through your mind. Help to be aware of situations and thoughts rather than to react to them, thus allowing you to deal with them in the best way.
Basic of meditation
- Relax your body
- Sit in comfortable position
- Listen to relax music.
- Be aware and conscious of what is travelling in your mind
- Evaluate your thoughts
- Prevent yourself from being disturbed
- Practice
Techniques:
- Count your blessings or numbers counting
- Stop all those negative thoughts and replace with positive thoughts
- Mediation using crystals or positive affirmation words.
